Laptop LCD Hinges |
Use of side hinges to mount laptop screens to the bezel has been a standard trend. In addition to the side mounting hinges(indicated by green arrows in the illustration below), we have noticed that some laptop manufacturers use top and bottom mounting brackets(illustrated below with areas marked in red). These brackets are not required to hold the screen in the bezel.

We prefer to ship LCD's without the top and bottom brackets because not all laptops have the top and bottom brackets, but all laptops do have the side hinges which are sufficient to hold the screen in place.
